Study into very long-range business jet was announced at the NBAA convention in October 1991. Based on a lengthened and re-engineered G-IV fuselage, but with more efficient wing and new R-R Deutschland BR710 turbofans, the G-V made its first flight on 28 November 1995 and subsequently set many world records. First customer delivery on 1 July 1997. Total Delivered: 135.
