Fokker 50/60

Follow-on development of the F27 announced on 24 November 1983. Substantial application of new technology structure and systems; more than 80% of components new or modified. Rolls-Royce Darts replaced by modern PEtWC PW 120 engines. Fokker 50 first flew on 28 December 1985 and entered service on 7 August 1987. Stretched Fokker 60 launched in February 1994. Total delivered: 212.
