Bombardier Canadair CL-600 Challenger

Evolved from a design by Bill Lear for a fast 14- seat business jet dubbed the LearStar 600. Canadair acquired exclusive rights and launched the aircraft on 29 October 1976, leading to the first flight on 8 November 1978. By that time aircraft had been renamed the Challenger. First delivered on 30 December 1980. Total delivered: 550+.
